While Milan’s Universal Exposition closed a few months ago, Carsten Witte’s series of photographs brings back to memory all the shapes, geometries and colors of its massive pavilions.

The German photographer focused in particular on architectural details, isolating them and often overlapping them with other fragments, in an original visual approach to what was likely Italy’s biggest event in 2015.
